Can you believe it’s been two months since the last Hike Yeah Photo Contest? Well, here’s another chance to show off your pictures and win a cool prize.

The topic time this around is urban hiking/walking: city views that you can twalk to, city parks you can walk through, etc.  As usual, this is open to interpretation; be creative. Laura Foster, author of numerous books about urban hikes/walks, will be my guest on January 29, and she’ll help me judge the photos. (See other upcoming guests here.) She’s also going to donate a copy of Portland Hill Walks to the winner–I have a copy, and it’s really cool.

Here are the your instructions:

1. Find a good photo or two that you’ve taken.
2. Make sure the photo(s) has something to do with urban hiking/walking.
3. Send the photo(s) and a short description to hikeyeah@gmail.com by 12PM PST on Friday, January 29.
4. Tune in live at 2pm to episode 33 on January 29th to see if you’ve won.
