"I have an enormous ego, but THE REASON my ego is so enormous is partly about getting the message out to Portlanders. I mean I'm really interested in getting people to read the God damned news....that's what I do. "I guess the point I'd like to make about Rupert Murdoch is the guy knows how to get people to pick up copies". "Historically-profit has been the big motivator for journalists, you know? ...You know what I'm sayin'?" The lesson maybe, If one has an amusing accent and talks at the speed of a triple espresso, it might get you by for a while in the world of non thinker types. The Matt Davis 15 minutes sucks.
